Abstract

The first part of the publication presents the structure of global power industry market. Fundamental technologies of heat and electricity production in conventional coal combustion processes are considered,with special emphasis on waste manufacturing and storage. The article discusses prospects for possible utilization of fly ash in synthesis of metal matrix composites.
